Conduit acquisition & shutdown

Conduit's technology has been acquired. Effective immediately, the service is shutting down. Here's what you should know.

Conduit has been acquired. For our users, this moment will be bittersweet — although our product’s technology will be incorporated into a new and different product, our thousands of existing pilot customers will lose access to their accounts.

Key information for Conduit Pilot users

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Effective August 1, 2019, we terminated new API connections for syncing Google account data to Conduit. Existing account sync was also not renewed and would have been disabled for individual accounts between August 1 and December 1.

  • Effective January 1, 2020, we have stopped operating the Conduit service. Our platform; our web app; our iPhone and Android apps; our Gmail add-on; and our Chrome extension will no longer work. You will no longer be able to sign in.

  • By January 20, 2020, all user data will be securely deleted. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a new data export scheme: if you did not export your data prior to January 1, 2020, you will not be able to do so anymore.

What’s happening with Conduit

Conduit has been acquired. The acquiring party has purchased Conduit for our technology platform and product — including our Personal Graph and data sync services — and plans to relaunch a product in the relationship management space using Conduit technology in 2020.

Can I still use Conduit?

No. The current Conduit service — which was offered since April 19, 2018 for users of our pilot test program — is being shut down.

What’s happening with my account?

On August 1, 2019, new account and sync connections from Google were disabled. For existing accounts, sync connections were not renewed and gradually expired over the next few months.

On January 1, 2020, we shut down the service and disabled the ability to sign in.

On or by January 20, 2020, your account and data will be permanently and securely deleted.

What’s happening with my data?

We take your data privacy seriously. In the event of a company acquisition, our privacy policy does not allow for transfer of user data to a new party operating with a different privacy policy.

Thus, all user accounts and data will be permanently and securely deleted from our systems on or by January 20, 2020.

Your data will not be transferred, sold, or otherwise possessed by the acquiring party.

Can I export my account data?

Unfortunately, for legal reasons, we are unable to offer exports of account data after January 1, 2020. If you did not already export your data by then, we will be unable to retrieve it.

When will the new version of Conduit be launched?

The acquiring party plans to operate a product that leverages Conduit’s data and Personal Graph platform. While a relationship management product, it will have a different objective, focus area, brand name, and pricing scheme. While we don’t have any definitive details, this product plans to launch in 2020.

What’s happening with the company

We are moving on to new projects, businesses, and jobs! With deep gratitude for our users, investors, partners, and supporters, we look back on our last two years. This has been “an incredible journey”:

  • We launched at the beginning of 2017 with a vision to democratize access to AI technology, helping improve and build relationships for all.
  • In early 2017, we closed a small seed round from early-stage investors and angels who believed in us.
  • In late 2017, we developed the first versions of our revolutionary and best-in-class Personal Graph platform for analyzing relationships and interactions.
  • In early 2018, we launched our web product on Product Hunt as the #1 product for relationship management and CRM. We received 1,000+ upvotes and nearly 10,000 pilot users.
  • In late 2018, we launched our iOS and Android apps. We also began to test an early beta of our Chrome and Gmail extensions.
  • In 2019, Conduit entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired.
